Published On December 27, 1894, This Issue Of Life Magazine, Volume XXIV, Number 626, Was Produced At 19 West Thirty-First Street, New York. Life Was A Weekly American Humor And Commentary Magazine Founded In 1883 By John Ames Mitchell. The Cover Illustration Features A Knight With A Shield Labeled “Life” Fighting A Winged Demon, Accompanied By The Motto “While There Is Life There’s Hope.” The Magazine Was Known For Satirical Cartoons And Social Commentary.
