Piloted By Tony Jannus, A Pioneering Aviator, This Flight Was One Of The Longest Hydro-Aeroplane Journeys At The Time, Demonstrating The Potential Of Aviation For Long-Distance Travel. The Roberts Motor Company Of Sandusky, Ohio, Marketed Their Engine’s Reliability Through This Feat. Jannus Later Became Famous For Piloting The First Scheduled Commercial Airline Flight In 1914.
