Chartered By The Board Of Regents Of The University Of New York State, The School Offered Flight Training Over Land And Water For A Tuition Fee Of $250. Students Could Complete Their Course On The Thomas Flying Motor Boat, Indicating Training In Seaplane Operation. Instructor Walter E. Johnson Led The Program During A Time When Aviation Was Still In Its Infancy. The Thomas Bros. Aeroplane Co. Was A Key Player In Early American Aviation, Later Merging Into Thomas-Morse Aircraft.
