The Woman's Central Committee On Missions (W.C.C.M.) In Raleigh, North Carolina, Played A Foundational Role In Organizing And Supporting Missionary Activities Among Women In The Baptist Church During The Late 19th And Early 20th Centuries.

Heck's Leadership In Raleigh, Where She Presided Over Both The Local And State WMU Branches, Saw Substantial Growth In Membership And Financial Contributions To Missionary Work.

The Committee's Activities Included Organizing Mission Support, Educational Initiatives, And Social Welfare Programs, Which Laid The Groundwork For The Robust Structure Of The WMU, Making Significant Contributions To Both Local And International Missionary Efforts.
