This 1915 Photograph Print Clipping Shows A Section Of The Thomas Brothers Aeroplane Company Plant In Ithaca, New York, Where Workers Are Constructing Early Aircraft Frames. Founded In 1910 By William T. Thomas And Oliver W. Thomas, The Company Produced Wooden Biplanes During The Early Years Of Aviation. In 1915, The Ithaca Facility Was Active In Manufacturing Aircraft For Military Training Use - Specifically The T-2 Biplane, Reflecting The Growing Demand For Airplanes During The Pre-World War I Period.
