In Very Good Vintage Condition - Unmounted, Trimmed Edges, Toning Due To Age And History-Collectors Watermarked That Is Not On The Clipping.
This 1929 Print Clipping Features L.M.S. 4-6-0 No. 14651, Originally Caledonian Railway No. 61, Photographed At Lanark By J.G.C. Anderson. The Locomotive Represents A Transition Period Following The 1923 Grouping, When The Caledonian Railway Was Absorbed Into The London, Midland And Scottish Railway. The 4-6-0 Wheel Arrangement Was Common For Express Passenger Engines Of The Era. This Image Documents The Continued Use Of Pre-Grouping Locomotives Within The Newly Formed London, Midland and Scottish Railway, Retaining Their Original Designs And Numbering Conventions During Integration Into A Unified Network.
