The Image Shows A Woman Standing Beside A Brick Hearth And Wood Stove Surrounded By Hanging Utensils And Shelves Of Crockery. The Postcard Bears A Scott #632 1-Cent Green Benjamin Franklin Stamp With Bottom Selvage, Cancelled By A Circular Date Stamp And A Machine-Applied Slogan Cancel Reading “Show Your Return Address On All Mail.” It Was Addressed To Miss Josephine Lewis At 1837 – 17th Avenue, Moline, Illinois, And Includes A Brief Handwritten Note Signed “Billy.”
