The 1931 Budapester Internationale Messe Poster Stamp Promoted The Budapest International Fair, Held From May 9 To May 18, During The Global Economic Downturn Of The Great Depression. The Fair Was Aimed At Revitalizing Hungary’s Economy By Showcasing Industrial Machinery, Agricultural Products, Textiles, And Consumer Goods To Foreign Investors And Trade Partners. The Stamp, Printed In Red And White, Features The Turul, A National Symbol, And The Letters “B, N, Y” For “Budapest, Nemzetközi Vásár.” Its German Text Highlights Hungary’s Economic Ties With Germany And Austria, Major Trading Partners At The Time.
