Real Photo Postcard Showing The Newfound Gap Highway Tunnel And The Chimney In Great Smoky Mountains National Park With A Ford Model 48 Sedan. The Highway Was Completed In 1932 As A Major Project Linking Tennessee And North Carolina. The Tunnel Depicted Was Part Of Early Infrastructure Development Led By The National Park Service And Civilian Conservation Corps. The Card Was Published By W. M. Cline Co. Of Chattanooga, Tennessee, A Known Regional Postcard Producer With An EKC (Eastman Kodak Company) Stamp Box c1935.
In Good Vintage Condition - Unused, Unposted, Crease On Right Quarter Side Of Card, Curling, Staining, Paper Toning Due To Age And History-Collectors Watermarked That Is Not On Postcard. Measures Approx. 5-1/2" Wide by 3-1/2" Tall.
