Real Photo Postcard Depicting The Approach To The Old Point Loma Lighthouse In San Diego, California. The Lighthouse, First Lit In 1855, Was Decommissioned In 1891 Due To Frequent Fog Obstruction And Replaced By A Lower Elevation Light. This Card Shows The Historic Structure Located Within The Cabrillo National Monument, Established In 1913. The Image Features A Curved Road Leading Up To The Lighthouse, Captured During A Period Of Increased Public Access And Tourism. The Back Bears A Kodak Paper Stamp Box c1945.

In Good Vintage Condition - Unused, Unposted, Crease On Right Quarter Side Of Card, Curling, Staining, Paper Toning Due To Age And History-Collectors Watermarked That Is Not On Postcard. Measures Approx. 5-3/8" Wide by 3-1/2" Tall.
