This Real Photo Postcard Shows Missouri & Arkansas Locomotive Number 34, A 2-8-2 Mikado-Type Steam Engine Built For Freight Service. The Missouri & Arkansas Railway Operated From 1922 Until Its Dissolution In 1946, Following The Reorganization Of The Missouri & North Arkansas Railroad. Locomotive 34 Was Part Of A Class Of Engines Designed With A Superheated Boiler And Radial Valve Gear, Common For Mid-20th Century Freight Hauling. The Postcard Is Printed On Kodak Paper Circa 1955.
In Good Vintage Condition - Unused, Unposted, Collector Identified Writing On Reverse, Curling, Staining, Paper Toning Due To Age And History-Collectors Watermarked That Is Not On Postcard. Measures Approx. 5-3/8" Wide by 3-1/2" Tall.
